Well, i've done it. After thoroughly enjoying the blogs of some very dear friends i broke down and decided that it was time to do a little blogging of my own. I am a big fan of pen and paper but with 4 young children my time to pen individual correspondence is, well, non-existent. So...in an effort to keep people up to speed on the happenings in our lives i thought maybe i'd try blogging. I'm not sure that our lives are very unique or interesting or worthy of a blog but let's see what happens.
I have to admit that coming up with a title for my blog was a tough task. There are so many good choices. I finally settled on this one after contemplating a question that i am frequently asked when people see that i have four boys under the age of 8 (my oldest will be 8 in 3 days!). I don't really think i am that unique but it seems like in this day and time toting 4 children to the grocery store (or anywhere for that matter!) has become quite a spectacle. Even more bewildering to some people is the fact that when i am asked if we "are done" having kids i simply shrug my shoulders and say "only God knows" or "we'll see". So when I reflect upon my place in life right now the only explanation i have for the fact that i am sane and actually quite happy is that I am filled with, and constantly praying for, God's grace. And when i am feeling like i am running on empty i simply remember my life verse, Phillipians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" Truly His grace IS sufficient.
